Robert Smith’s Meltdown Festival

In London, from June 15-24 at the Southbank Centre, The Cure’s Robert Smith is the curator of the 25th Meltdown festival.

There are more artists to come, but so far, we’ve got a grand list of bands that will be playing including: Deftones, Nine Inch Nails, The Libertines, Manic Street Preachers, Mogwai, My Bloody Valentine, Placebo, The Psychedelic Furs, 65DaysOfStatic, Alcest, The Anchoress, The Church, Kathryn Joseph, Mono, and The Notwist.

Tickets are on sale March 15th.

Chicago Open Air Is Taking A Break

Chicago Open Air posts on its social media accounts and website that it will be taking a hiatus this year.

Many fans and festival-goers are left disappointed, as many of them have been waiting for a “big announcement” after Chicago Open Air posted this status:

105.7 the X “Spring Fling” Festival

Peoria’s 105.7 the X radio station is holding their 2018 “spring fling” festival at Peoria Riverfront on May 17 – May 18.

The bands include PopEvil, Stone Sour, Stone Temple Pilots, Sevendust, 10 Years, Dead Girls Academy, I Prevail and Burden of The Sky.

– Gates Open at 5pm

– First band starts at 6pm

– All Ages

– Children 6 and under are free

– ID is needed to drink

– Rain or Shine event (it is outdoors)

– Lawn chairs in GA area only

– No outside food or drinks allowed
