lolitslea releases new single “Get Over Yourself”

Independent pop artist L E A released her new single “Get Over Yourself” today and it’s a quarantine anthem! This single is an upbeat sound that you can dance to! It’s super catchy, I’ll be singing it in the shower. L E A has a sizeable vocal range and in “Get Over Yourself”, she is able to showcase some of it. I love the theme of the small visual that was made to go along with the song. Its cute, colorful and a dab of edginess that is also popped into the song itself.

L E A is active on many social media platforms doing covers to songs and streaming to fans live! Following her on social media would be a great way to meet this artist and see all of the fun stuff she has to share and offer in terms of what she does best artistically, making music. The Prof. Fuzz 63 releases new single “Nadine Codeine”!

The lo-fi grunge band out of Texas The Prof. Fuzz 63 released their new lead single off of their upcoming album Owls! The new single is “Nadine Codeine” and the song is upbeat but also relaxed. The way the song flows makes me think of a lazy river. After listening a handful of times, the lyrics and the looping tune got stuck in my head! It’s catchy, there’s not a lot going on in the song but there doesn’t need to be. This song is the kind that is perfect for car rides rather than a workout.

Professor Fuzz gave some insight about the single. He wrote the track for the single in 2018 and was thinking of punk rock type names and started rolling with that, which gave him the name of the single “Nadine Codeine”. He looped the demo of the single in GarageBand while he went out for a walk, singing it to himself to carve out the rest of it. The first fan of the song was an old Taiwanese man with a pink sweater that says “CHOCOLATE JESUS” on it and that in itself sums up what the whole upcoming album is going to be like.

The Prof. Fuzz 63 will be releasing more singles for their upcoming album in June! Follow The Prof. Fuzz 63 so you don’t miss out!

Album Review: Faulkner – Pariahs

Faulkner, a bi-Coastal experimental band, has released their debut album Pariahs. It includes collaboration with two rappers, Royce Da 5’9″ (Eminem) and RZA (Wu-Tang Clan).

The album comes with 10 tracks that range from rock to a mix of that rock sound and pop. The tracks are upbeat and will make you want to dance! Many of these tracks could make for a good addition to your workout playlist. This music is for the revolutionary! No one would blame you if you felt the need to stand on a table and sing along.

‘NY Anthem’, the track that features RZA, had gotten some love and attention from sports like ESPN, NFL and N.Y Yankees’ home games. If that gives you an idea.

  4. Halo Me
